Registered Players Checklist:
  1. Check out our Equipment page for help with buying what you need for the season.
  2. Note on Shoes - Infield will be Turf (Baseball), Outfield will be grass.  Molded cleats are allowed on both surfaces, but regular tenny shoes or turf shoes are recommended for Turf.  No metal cleats allowed.

🚨⚾ Big Changes to Kid Pitch in Fall 2025! 🧢🔥

We’re making the following changes to keep our players challenged, developing, and LOVING the game.

🔹 New Division: Kid Pitch Peewee (Ages 8.5–9.5 or any player moving up from Coach Pitch) 
We’re excited to announce the launch of our Kid Pitch Peewee Division, created especially for young ballplayers who:
  • ✅ Are 8.5 to 9.5 years old and/or moving up from Coach Pitch (even if 10 already)
  • ✅ Have prior experience in T-Ball and Coach Pitch 
  • ✅ Are ready to step up to Kid Pitch but not quite ready to face those big 11–12 year old arms 
Division Highlights:
  • 🎯 Focus on early pitcher and catcher development 
  • 📏 Games played on a 46’ mound / 60’ base path (same field as Coach Pitch) 
  • 📘 Rules and gameplay tailored to introduce Kid Pitch mechanics in a lower-pressure setting ​

  • 📏 Upgrading to a 54’ mound / 80’ base paths
  • 🎓 Built to prepare players for high school-level baseball
  • 🧠 Faster tempo, bigger strategy, and serious skill-building
Pearland Baseball, a part of the Shadow Creek Sports organization:
  • Programs for boys and girls, ages 3-14 (8th grade)
  • Offer T-Ball, Coach Pitch, and Kid Pitch
  • Recreational / developmental league focused on learning the skills of baseball
  • Open to all of Pearland and surrounding communities - no boundary restrictions
  • More relaxed, flexible and easy going
  • Lighted Turf Fields conveniently located at Beltway 8 near 288
WEATHER WATCH?  
  1. *​Assume if you have NOT heard anything from your Coach or the Director, your practice or game is still ON - come to the field at your posted time.
  2. The City's automated message line (281-270-9049) may say "all fields are closed" but they are referring to all natural grass fields.
  3. If the City notifies the Director that the fields are closed, an email will be sent to all Coaches.
  4. Light rain?  Games will continue.
  5. Thunder & lightning close by? Leave the field and seek protection. Play can resume 10 minutes after the last thunder. If thunder continues longer than 20 minutes, game will be cancelled. If the playing surface is judged to be unplayable by Pearland City Officials or by Shadow Creek Sports, game will be cancelled. 
  6. Games will be rescheduled to a later date (as long as the majority of time has not expired) and an updated schedule will be sent out to Coaches.
